Recreate restaurant-quality Texas Roadhouse flavor at home with this simple baked salmon recipe. This dish features incredibly moist, flaky salmon coated in a sweet and savory glaze, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • For the Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Rub the fillets lightly with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sprinkle this seasoning mix evenly over the salmon fillets.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the honey, melted butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  5. Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush about half of the glaze mixture evenly over the tops of the fillets.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven. Brush the remaining glaze over the hot fillets.
  8. Serve immediately with your preferred side dishes.

Notes

  • For crispier edges, you can briefly place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the glaze.
  • This recipe works well for meal prep; store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze mixture.
