Make this simple, sweet and savory appetizer using just three ingredients in your slow cooker. This dump and go recipe is perfect for game day or any potluck.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen pre-cooked meatballs
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar grape jelly
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle BBQ chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the grape jelly over the meatballs.
  3. Pour the BBQ chili sauce over the jelly and meatballs.
  4. Stir gently to coat the meatballs completely with the sauce mixture.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Stir once halfway through cooking.
  7. Serve directly from the slow cooker on the warm setting with toothpicks for easy serving.

Notes

  • For best results on a buffet line, set your slow cooker to the ‘Warm’ setting after the cooking time is complete.
  • If you do not have BBQ chili sauce, you can substitute it with chili sauce and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
  • Use toothpicks or small appetizer forks for guests to easily pick up the meatballs.
