Make this easy, creamy Bruschetta Dip using Boursin or cream cheese. It is a quick, no-bake Italian appetizer perfect for parties and gatherings, served with crackers or bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Boursin cheese or plain cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh Roma tomatoes, diced small
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • For serving: Pita chips, crackers, or baguette slices

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened Boursin cheese or cream cheese with the minced garlic. Mix until smooth.
  2. In a separate small bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to coat the tomatoes and basil.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into a serving dish.
  4. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture over the cheese layer.
  5. If using, drizzle a small amount of balsamic glaze over the top for presentation.
  6. Serve the Creamy Bruschetta Dip immediately with your preferred dippers. You can chill this dip for up to 2 hours before serving if needed.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a mix of ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese instead of Boursin.
  • If you use plain cream cheese, add 1/2 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning to the cheese base for more flavor.
  • Prepare the tomato topping up to 4 hours ahead of time; drain off any excess liquid before spooning over the cheese layer.
